Meditation
"Because I wanted to challenge, to match illustrations to words, I found a lot of poems to read. When I first read "meditation", I thought it was it. I am attracted by the picture it depicts. From "the sky is full of wheezing, sick beavers" to "smiles are everywhere like catkins," tropes like this give the ordinary scene a state and a mood that one can't wait to describe. In the end, the poems retrieve the
divergent thoughts:the curtain call at "apologizing to the guests for the delay of dinner" is like a dream-like spiritual escape. The realistic and illusory image conveyed by the whole poem convinced me that it would be interesting to illustrate the poem.
